We are now looking for an experienced construction manager in land and water for the Norrbotniabanan program who wants to help drive some of Sweden's most extensive infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be an important resource in the Swedish Transport Administration's project organization and work closely with project managers, contractors, and other construction managers.

As a construction manager, you are responsible for monitoring and coordinating production within your assigned area. You provide technical support, ensure that contracts are executed according to agreements, documents, and requirements, and work for an efficient, safe, and high-quality production. The role involves both strategic work and presence in production, where you play a central role in daily dialogue with contractors.

The assignment includes, among other things:

• Leading and coordinating construction management within the assigned area/contract
• Ensuring that the contract is executed according to contracts, drawings, and documents
• Supporting the project manager in technical matters and in monitoring time, economy, quality, environment, work environment, and safety
• Maintaining daily contact with the contractor and contributing to effective collaboration and good progress
• Monitoring the contractor's work, self-checks, work preparations, and participating in inspections
• Identifying risks and problems and providing technical basis for decisions and actions
• Collaborating with other construction managers and supporting more junior colleagues when needed
• Ensuring that necessary permits and conditions are in place
• Keeping a diary, minutes, and following up on final documentation and as-built documents
• Contributing to the follow-up of quantity regulation

Mandatory requirements

All requirements must be clearly stated in the CV, including periods, assignments, scope, and responsibilities.

1. At least 5 years of experience as a site manager, construction manager, foreman, project manager, assignment manager, or equivalent for assignments related to construction contracts in road and/or railway. Work experience should not be older than 10 years. (At least 30% employment rate per year of experience).
2. At least 3 years of experience in management work of the type: Stormwater systems/management, Waste/freshwater facilities, and cabling for electricity/telecom/opto (At least 30% employment rate per year of experience).
3. Documented experience in AMA Construction and AMA MER 17 or later edition, or equivalent experience as assessed by the client.
4. Documented training in General Terms and Conditions (AB04) or equivalent experience as assessed by the client.
5. Valid driver's license (B).

Equipment and travel in the service

The following is required for the assignment:

• Access to a personal car used for work – the consultant is responsible for having access to a car for travel in the assignment
• Access to AMA Premium license

The assignment involves travel in the service, primarily to and within the workplaces in the contract. Travel may also occur between the Norrbotniabanan project offices in Skellefteå, Umeå, and Luleå.

Assignment information

The assignment should start no later than 2026-08-17 and last for 2 years from the date the contract comes into effect.

Option: The client has the unilateral option to extend the contract under existing contractual terms for an additional 2+2+1 years.

Scope: The estimated workload for the assignment is 100% of annual working time, amounting to 1,700 hours.

The stationing location for the resource consultant is Skellefteå. This assignment requires physical presence at the Swedish Transport Administration's office in Skellefteå, primarily 5 days a week.
